Blue Laced Red Wyandotte THREAD!

Hey everybody, hope you all had a great Christmas. Thought I'd post some updated pictures of my different looking BLRW. I went on vacation leaving behind chicks and came back to mini chickens. They are very sweet but are not being treated well by some of my older hens. I'm constantly outside scolding the big girls. One of the little guys decided to wait until a big girl had her back turned and took his/her revenge by jumping up and giving her a few pecks before running off. Of course the big girl who got the licking turned out to be a docile Salmon Faverolle who's actually nice to the little guys. :/ I'm really liking how they are turning out, some pretty lacing. They are bluer than I thought they were going to be, I was expecting them a lighter/white color like other splashes.

BLRW's hatched out 12/23/13 out of our flock..Getting big and feathering out nicely.. 4H babies

I remember them, lookin' good! Any photos of the breast area lacing? just curious :)
They have turned out such a pretty color of blue! They did look lighter as chicks

Thank you:) I'll try and get them to pose better tomorrow for some front facing shots. Hopefully you guys can take some shots at sexing as well. Right now they all look like Roos to me lol.

they're not splash. they're blue...

the colors look to be turning out nicely though.

I find these so difficult to sex. Can anyone explain how without seeing the combs/Wattles they know they are boys?
Thanks!!!
The RED on the wings.... is my key. Pullets are laced all over roos will have solid red on the wings. It is a UNIVERSAL roo thing really.
