Blue Laced Red Wyandotte THREAD!

Here's some pictures of a couple of my pullets I've grown up. I'm in the UK and we classify these birds to just be the Blue Laced Wyandottes, are these the same as the Blue Laced Red Wyandotte. Or do Blue Laced Red Wyandottes have different traits/colouring to my birds?

Those are what we call Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, yours are some of the prettiest I've seen! I have bird envy!

Thankyou everyone! I fell in love with the breed a couple of years a go and have been a very picky collector It's been so difficult to find decent birds over here. They're sooooo rare! Do you think I would be able to show any of them?

I suppose the rarity of them over there has caused the breeding practices in the UK, with this breed, to be very select. As for showing them, you should PM some of the breeders at the beginning of this thread, like Foley Farms, I believe, he can tell you if they would show well. Best of luck!

Over here we have hundreds of bantam wyandotte breeders but there are only a few people that selectively breed Large fowl wyandottes, I will PM Foley Farms and see what he says. I am quite interested to see whether I would be able to show them and hopefully some of their offspring as well
