Blue Laced Red Wyandotte THREAD!

actually if here gold laced, he'd be a very poor quality once since he's not gold, but red... THIS is a gold laced... very nice ones too IMO but not my birds... found on google images.

I know he wouldn't be considered a good gold laced, they are my mane colour of Wyandotte but I didn't think he looked like a good blue laced in that pic

eta: actually looking at his pic again he may actually be a black laced blrw... blue usually doesn't show the glossy shine like some of his feathers are showing...

He is black..not blue I think that is where the confusion comes in.

Not very good pictures but the BLRW are 5 to 6 weeks old in these..

I have 6 chicks but could only get 3 b4 it started getting dark
All are at 4.5 weeks

The color looks pretty accurate on my computer. They are very light with a blue/grey tint in some places. There is still a lot of baby fluff that is yellowish or beige

I did not take baby pics so I don't remember the baby color real well.

They look to be splash......hatchery stock? They have the orangey color that the ones I got from Meyer have.
