Just love the BLR's they come in three colors but the variations are multiplied. It will be interesting to see if they become an excepted variety after next year. I know Jerry Foley started the ball rolling with APA this year and I think...it takes 2 years.

He looks as naked as a J Bird. I doubt one more week is going to change him enough. He is filled with quills.



But this lil girl is good to go..one more bath is all she needs. She is really maturing nicely..

I can't remember when I first posted pics of my BLRW but wanted to post an updated pic of my pullet as she has filled out a bit. I know she's not the right mahogany color but I like her orange/brassy color. She's just a pet.

give him a bath... water helps the quills dissolve quicker.

she's a blue laced gold... very good color for a gold I think.
