I don't have one of these beautiful chickens, but one visits us from the neighbor's house. She loves to beg for treats and leave little "gifts" on our sidewalk.

If she ever leaves a present in the form of an egg....perhaps you should incubate it...

Oh, we are very careful. Our girls are very far away in the back and we make sure to change shoes before taking care of our birds.

Ha Ha. I don't think they have a rooster and she never leaves an egg. Just likes to visit and get a few treats. I have made a vow not to get any chicks in 2014 - but this breed is definitely on my list for the next year.
