Blue Laced Red Wyandotte THREAD!

I got an egg yesterday from one of my new pens!!!!!! yeah!!!!! I think it may have come from my black laced red she is quite pink....but so is one of the blues. MAYBE they will all start!!!! I really didn't expect eggs for a couple of months.

Beautiful conditioned birds..Very healthy shine and vigor visible in the feathering. How much does your cockerel weigh at that age?

You have three girls in that batch that are exceptional..Love most of the tail feathers. Nice wide fat tails. Beautiful tents. Nice combs.

Thanks Scott. What's up with that? I have a SLW and a Partridge that about naked. Bout ready to put a coat on the poor ladies...

Thanks Delisha, they are very spoiled and it shows :) They have their faults, like all birds do but all in all extremely happy with them. I don't know how much he weighs. Heavy, lol The older cockerel, I am guessing 9?

IDK, but she looks like a bantam right now. At least she got her head and neck feathers back....sorta.

Coyotes killed a deer on the lake night before last...I had seen it around with a broken front leg....waiting for the eagles to come in and clean it up.

OMGosh, you live the wilderness up there. Must be awesome. I miss the forest lands. We lived in McCall for 30 years. Back country was just outside the backyard fence!
