Looks like 2 blacks, lovely little fuzz butts.

The one I dropped is clicking inside, I thought for sure I killed it so 2 more yet to hatch.

My first 2 BLRW hatched! Looks like their either a dark blue or black laced anyone have opinions or aren't they dry enough? Combs look good so far and beaks also. This is very exciting.

I had one come back penciled..... they do change.  I have not seen it too much in mine.

So do you cull the ones that change? Is that something that gets passed on?

Yes, you would cull any that change after molting (loss of correct lacing, color, etc). I put my hen in with the layers.

New to having BLRW this year. Had SLW last year. There was one I really thought was going to be a rooster but ended up not. Are there any tricks to sexing the BLRW? I have one that is developing a bit of waddle and red in the comb at about 6.5 weeks. All five of ours are splash if that helps.

just one more the cracked egg shrunk wrapped. I'll have pics later. Looks like one splash, one dark blue and 2 black laced. I have on bym yet to hatch, 7 total hatched so far.

Can someone tell me if this is what BLRW bantam chicks are supposed to look like? A couple of them don't look like other photos I've seen so I'm confused.
