He's beautiful! I want some that dark! Mine are not that rich of a color

Can anyone tell me if these two are are splash? It seems like I see a lot of BLRW that are darker. The pullet is actually really pretty although hard to get a pic of cuz she is kinda skittish. The roo wants to sit in my lap all the time lol

This is my blrw and I was wondering if the copper on her head and neck will eventually go away as she gets older. Also will her lacing get better. She was hatched mid June. TIA

Not sure about the head my pullet has a darker head that did not go away. But it is nicely laced now. Mine are April baby's. The boy never has had any red on his head and still doesn't.

Lacing will definitely get better but the coppery color (I think) will stay.

Got me some new baby's!! I'm excited to now have a darker blue than the pair I currently have. One of these is definitely a blue the other is supposed to be a Golden Lace. I hope both are female. I also got a blue Jersey giant. And a Harlequin orp which is huge!! May end up being a boy but I sure do love my BLRW!!!!!

Some better pick of my two new baby's. The blue is nice the other one think is a gold is ornery. My husband thinks it is a boy it pecks at us, not any of the others just us and puffs out the neck feathers. When I picked them out these two have flat combs and no color or waddles. The other three that where available had pronounced combs.( The only way I can describe it is they look like they have botox in thr little rose combs lol) My last baby's at this age my boy had a raised comb and little bubbles/bumps then he got the wattles. So my husband and I got a bet going he says the gold is a boy. I'm leaning and hoping girl but clearly have some doubts.... Soo I'm calling on the experts

I finally ordered some BLRW for the spring! I have been wanting them for the last two years but I always miss the window to order them. I will post pictures of them and their progress when it happens. They are hatched on 4/30 and I will probably have them on or about 5/2.
