Blue Laced Red Wyandotte THREAD!

Hello all! So I’m looking for some of your expertise. I purchase 5 2 week old chicks 5 weeks ago from a breeder to try and better my breeding stock. I put them out today to start to acclimate them to the rest of my flock. Needless to say in broad daylight I am rethinking quite a few things such as they may all be Cockrills and also 1 seems to have an inverted comb and crooked toes. What are your thoughts? I think both of the blues are Cockrills (1 seems to have a crooked toe and inverted comb) for the splashes I think 1 is a pullet, 1 I’m iffy on and 1 I feel confident is a cockrill. I posted on FB in the BLRW group and they seem to think they’re all Cockrills :hitI wasn’t planning on breeding the splashes, my husband and kids like the splashes so I was just going to keep any pullets withbour egg layers....thoughts?:fl

Need help identifying this chick. I'm new to chicks and got what I thought were 3 gold laced wyandonettes from Rural King/Hoover's Hatchery. Chicks are 7 weeks old. Since buying I have learned they have the wrong combs -- no worries on my part as they will be pets. But one seems to be blue. Others have said that it is a BLRW, but to me it looks like a blue laced gold if that is possible. What are your thoughts?

Alright, I don’t want to be a pain but I’ve got some people saying I have mostly pullets and I had someone on here say they’re all Cockrills. They are now almost 10 weeks old. Is there a way to tell for sure before they start laying eggs? I wasn’t planing on keeping splash Roos and I have someone who is interested in buying a splash Roo. I don’t want to sell one thinking it’s a young Roo and it turns out to be otherwise. I thought the feather patterns were a strong indicator in addition to combs and wattles prior to the hackly
Feathers presenting. Only 1 of the splashes has blocky feathering, both blues are pretty even and so are 2 of the splashes. This is only my second time with blrw chicks so still new to figuring this out. Here’s updated photos from yesterday. First 3 photos are 1 of each of the different splashes. The others show the blues. Second photo is the only truly blocky pattern on my splashes.

Just found this thread and I'm so excited to see all your beautiful birds! This is my first Splash Laced Red, though I've had GLWs before. Could you help me learn? What are you looking for in terms of coloring differences between cockerels and pullets? And would you experts mind weighing in on this one? 12-weeks old. No roostery behavior, nearly no comb/wattle. But have you ever had a pullet with a tail this bold?
