I do have Rooster Booster, I'll look into the powder. He gets some greens daily. Sunflower seeds huh? OK.
Thanks!

Here are pictures of my 8-9 week old BLRW. They all have lighter lacing, and was hoping they weren't all splashes. They don't have adult feathers. Can they change color and get darker? I have 3 but only got pictures of the cockerel and one pullet.

The handsome one, almost posed for the camera.

Mine have always lightened with age. I can see dark and light tail feathers on your guy, so he is a splash. Both birds pictured have nice body type!

Here are some examples of how much their color can change.

Hi all, I got this bird when he was 16 weeks old - told he was a BLRW, but since I don't know the breed I have no idea - but I still thinks he's gorgeous. Is he really a BLRW?
He's now about 8 months old, and we have some really nice babies from him - and some odd looking (but cute:

) polish crosses - will post pics later.

He looks like a BLRW. The males just grow a lot of funky feathers like that. His tail feathers seem a bit high set but he's definitely a BLRW. Beautiful too!

Here are mine!

My hen has the inappropriate comb, but since I'm not breeding them and got them to just add to my mixed flock it didn't really matter. She was a cull from the breeder. But otherwise I think her lacing is beautiful! These guys are probably around 16 weeks old (?)

I'm going to guess roo. He'll probably never be sexually mature.

I am OK with that as he's pretty messed up. Wouldn't want to breed him for sure, but I would like to move him to the older ladies coop eventually. Thanks for the guess. I'm thinking roo too.
***Thanks to the other poster for the food advise, I'm following your ideas!***

Keep the picture coming everyone! Gorgeous birds!!!!!!!! I really love the roosters, amazing coloring.

Can I show off Lacey? She is my only BLRW, but is a big hit. She also does all the backyard reporting on thehenway .
