I was wondering if you could please help me decide on a cockerel to keep. I have two and they are about a month apart. They are still young and not even crowing yet (which I am SHOCKED about). They are both blue but very different in color and type too I think. I have one that I like the looks of better, but I am no expert in this breed. They are both sweet boys so I would like to choose based on color and conformation.

Awesome! I was hoping everyone would say that! He is so sweet. I think I will sell the other with a splash laced pullet as a pair! That would leave me with the roo, a splash laced, 3 blue laced, and one black laced pullet. Thanks for your opinions!

I would love to see pics of exhibition quality birds. I currently have some hatchery SLW, but have on reserve 6 or so pullets and a cockerel BLRW that I can get in a month or so. I think they are beautiful birds, and would like to get a feel for what I'm looking for. I do believe the breeder I'm getting these has excellent quality birds. They are so beautiful! I just love the contrast of color on them.

There was someone on here who had exh. quality birds that had some eggs for auction here a while ago. I contacted them and friended them on FB and have an order on reserve as they are growing up some chicks, and will get some from them. I think I am going to contact Foley's and put in a reserve order for some chicks or young adults when they are available. May have to wait until spring of next year, but that's ok.
