Thank you very much preppy*hippie*chick for the very kind words. I dont mind you calling me Brian one bit. Im trying to improve on the BLRWs I have now, even brought in a couple other bloodlines that I think will make some improvements in mine. I sent you a PM back. I try to help others out when I can. I know all to well how it is trying to get started in something and everyone wants an arm and a leg for what you are wanting. Ive had others help me out in the past so I try my best to help others out too.

Anytime! Mine aren't old enough yet (and I'm rooless!) or I'd help out. I looked & looked but no one had chicks & I had no incubator. So then I ordered chicks & just got the 'bator. Now I've got 27 chicks coming in the space of a few days. EEEK!!!​

LOL, becareful with the bator, you tend to get way more chicks than you expect and/or need in way less time than you imagine. LOL. Im guilty of that myself.

WoW! bluelacedred has some AWESOME coloring on his chickens! What a difference from some I've seen. And I thought I wanted some of that stuff listed on eggbid. I'll be saving my scheckles.

I suffer incubator withdrawal if I don't have something in the incubator, I have got it really BAD!!!

I think I can safely say that Jesse Paul from bluelacedred has some of the finest BLRWs in the US.

To clarify, I haven't even started with the incubator! That's all in live chicks. Jesse Paul's should ship on the 20th or 21st and I'm driving to the Lucasville show the next weekend to pick up 12. I'm getting 12 Silkie eggs to practice with and maybe keep one as a broody - sell the rest. For as many hatcheries as Ohio has - you don't see tons of chickens and Craigs List hardly ever has them & they sell like hotcakes - no matter the breed.

Yeah, the 'bator could turn me into a real fiend. I'm glad this house came with a big coop...and a big barn which I'm turning half of into a coop in my mind these days... Total junkie. Good thing chickens don't leave track marks. With the exception of the freckle on my arm they like to peck LOL.

I know money is an object but if it weren't I recieved some really nice chicks from Penny's lil Gem in the Atlanta area... I can't believe how different quality looks... They were not cheap but they sure are nice.
