Had chickens for 20 years and still dont know whats going off lol.ive just started hatching my own,i think i need to give up.

don’t do that it’s normal for hatching to have a high percentage of cockerels. 50/50 is quite common and my first hatch I had more like 90+%. 8 boys and 1 girl. Second batch I had 50/50. It’s common and not anything you’re doing wrongHad chickens for 20 years and still dont know whats going off lol.ive just started hatching my own,i think i need to give up.
I know I've stopped ,I would love one ,That said, I may stop hatching if you can’t have roosters where you are because you WILL get boys every hatch.
