A quick Google suggests that's in Merthyr Tydfil? It's not an area I'm familiar with.

We were surprised by the Welsh influence when we visited, especially in Tasmania - lot's of familiar place names, etc.
 
Welcome to BYC Heidi. I'm Jewish also. Started out in Chicago for the first 20 something years of my life. Left when neighbors poisoned our dog to let us know Jews had no place there Chicago had temples. The suburb we moved to does not. My grandparents were orthodox, my parents were not. However since I was 12 I've been observing the highest holy day,
'YOM KIPPUR,"- fasting for 25 hours.

My son and brother explored Wales one year and loved it. They travel, I do not.

Wow I wonder if we are related?... Michael David was this guys name my gazzillith grandfather.. then the surname was Levi!
