Blue Orpington?

Hi all,

Just quick question. I bought hatching eggs at our local sale barn. Supposed to be lavender and lavender cuckoo only but this little guy looks like a blue one? Or is it just a darker lavender breed? Just curious if anyone else thinks it looks blue. He/she is the only one out of 13 others.

Oh so cute! I'm not very good with breeds but I'd like to see what others comment because I had a mystery chicken looking very similar

Im also curious how the genetics work if I keep it and breed it with one of the lavender ones or one of my chocolate ones. I am reading lots of posts on BYC about genetics but there is so much information my brain is in overload mode.
