I am thinking of purchasing the blue seal layer feed for my hens. Does anyone have any experience with this feed? Thanks!

I’ve used it in the past . It was always a good smelling clean feed and the chickens seemed to do well on it

It was my favorite feed. Good shells on the eggs without giving them oyster shell. I picked it up right at the mill. It was only 10 or $11 a 50lb bag of layer pellets. Unfortunately they closed the mill near us.
Now I get feed from another mill but they only have layer mash, which is OK. $10 for 50lbs. The chickens I think preferred the pellets . They eat the mash better fermented, it is good fermenting cause it doesn't turn to slop like the pellets.
