I am looking to add some color to my egg cartons. I have one olive egger now. She has encouraged me to add more color. Show me your colorful (blue is what I am most interested in greens are welcome also. ) eggs. Added my need for color egg collection.

Please add what breed lays what color. That way I can decide on what chickies I want to add to the flock...

I have a Whiting True Blue and it is my understanding that they breed true to color. They are also egg laying machines. It is said they will 280 to 300 eggs per year. Mine started laying about 6 six weeks ago and has laid an egg everyday since she started and it has been unseasonably cold in my area. They are blue green in color.

The blue eggs are from Prairie Bluebell pullets, the green/olive are from Starlight Green egger pullets, and the brown/tan are from either Black Sexlink, or Barred Rock pullets, all from Hoovers, via Rural King.
