Blue Slate Turkey Not Laying

Hello -
We got three blue slate turkeys back in July from a guy who didn't want them. It was two females and male. He told us that they were about a month out from being able to start laying.... However they are still not laying... Any ideas?

Spring time they start so either the guy who gave you them knew they we to young to lay because they should have been laying in July already or they are older birds that have an issue with laying.

Considering I got them off craigslist it would not surprise me if they had issues and I was lied to. I guess I will find out next Spring and go from there. Thank you!
