Blue, Splash, or Lavender?

If Red is a splash then that is really excellent.

I would have sold a Lavender Orpington but a Splash Australorp goes to the top of my list for breeding.

The girl I tagged is a light blue with a little dark ticking. I attached 2 photos, one is of my splash,



the other is of my blue with a bit of ticking like your girl.



If you breed her to a black looking bird and hatch any blacks then you know shes a blue

None of those are lavender. Two are blue, and the first looks splash.

The one in the picture to the right of my splash is what I shoot for but the andalusian blues are what people strive to breed for The lighter blue I posted a picture of is not ideal, she lacks edging and lacing but she had nice type so I kept her in the flock I keep a variety of blue shades, but I prefer the darker ones personally!
