Blue Swede Ducks, I think

Hello. Are these Blue Swede? Saw in a pond in NE Ohio. Will they be okay in the winter??

I’m afraid they might not survive the cold.

Sure look like they are can you rescue? The worst is they can’t fly so they can’t migrate if they even knew how and if the water freezes they will be food for predators. So sad someone dumped them. If you can’t try local animal shelter or a waterfowl rehabber. They are beautiful ducks who have depended on someone to feed and care for them now they are on their own

Yes, or at least Swede-like. It’s always unfortunate seeing domestic ducks out in the wild. Cold, predators, or starvation will catch up to them eventually.. I definitely agree with looking into rescue and rehab, if you can.
