I know right! I used to joke around that you could actually see them growing. They lasted about a week in the tub we had. Then they moved into a plastic swimming pool. They stayed there for maybe 3 weeks before I had to put the exercise pen around the pool. But once they were big enough to not slip through the ex-pen is when they got to be outside on the grass daily. They were in the pond by 6 weeks. Free-ranging by 8 weeks. They are on the Mazuri Waterfowl feed and I am fairly sure that I have gone through 4 huge bags of that plus 2 or three bags of cracked mixed grains and other lesser feed just to try stuff out. Mazuri was their choice. Only the best! You will find they are little piggies and they have to be cleaned constantly so the bigger the space the messier they are. I too got mine from Metzer.
