Blue Swedish Ducks

Hello. I have three blue swedish ducks. I noticed today that two of them cannot walk. I had to pick them up and put them by their food. When I put them down, one of them had their head flop to the ground. We looked up what they can eat and it said they could eat chicken feed, peas, and corn. Never had any problems with them until today. They are about 2yrs old. Please help as these guys are our 6yr old daughters pets

Have you been feeding them the same diet for the full 2 years? Do they forage or free range where they could have gotten into something? Any breathing, eating issues etc? A video might be helpful for others to help diagnose.

I am sad to say that we did end up loosing one of our ducks. The other one however, seems to be doing better and has been up walking around. I have been reading about what they can eat so we are going to try some of the things they suggested and see if that makes a difference

I’m so sorry. You may want to separate the healthy duck (if you haven’t already) from the sick duck in case it’s contagious. Keep us posted please. Again so sorry for your loss. If you think it’s something they ate you could try a flush
