This lovely bird is 12 weeks old. I thought she was a pullet because she has lighter feathers. But just recently her face is making me think differently since it turned reddish. Thoughts?

Male wheaten ameraucanas will never have that feather color/pattern.
If it was male, it would be darker and have a blue chest. This one is 100% female.
She is very pretty.

No doubt she's a pullet.
Ok I've got another one for you! Ducky is a 7.5 week old blue wheaten ameraucana. I was convinced she was indeed a she b/c of her lighter colouring until she developed a red comb and is starting to grow in some darker mahogany feathers on "her" back. Acts like a pullet, the other boys like to chest bump and act all tough with eachother. What do you think?
