HI...So I read that it might be possible to get clues on the sex of blue wheaten Ameraucanas from the feather coloring by 3 weeks...Neither have a very dominant personality that would lead me to think roo, nor incredibly thick legs or developed combs yet (although I know that can change quickiy.) ...Smaller one is actually very passive. Any opinions will be appreciated. Thank u. 🙂 This is chick 1.

Timing will vary depending on how fast the new feathers come in.. but yes, those are still looking like pullets unless they start getting darker soon or if blue cross blue.. and you get splash wheaten.. then I'm not sure how that might effect this. I do see darker feather starting at the back of the neck.. so it might still be too soon yet for a solid assessment.

From the Ameraucana website to help see the differences you're looking for color wise as they develop..
