I'm still learning how chicken genetics work, and had a brain fart of breeding a blue line to a lavender line. I'm sure I'm not the only person to think about this at some point.

Oh wise ones, with far more experience than I, what would happen?

It's generally not recommended to breed lavender and blue together, as lavender is recessive and can hide in a line. Additionally, blue, splash and lavender can be tricky to distinguish in chick down. The two colours can also express together in the same bird.

In the first generation you would hatch blue and black chicks, all carrying lavender. Breed those together and you would get blue, black, splash, lavender, blue based lavender and splash based lavender.
