I was being pragmatic in my plans to build our first chicken coop and then my wife saw a pic of the Bluegrass Coop. A beautiful build by Mr Chicken. I guess my shed like version is out the door. Has anyone tried this build or have dimensions? We are looking to make it a bit bigger - 4x8 probably, but I was curious if anyone had more specific plans. Also planning to put access doors rather than building out a nesting box. I'll try and document as I attempt this build. Plan to use metal roofing as we do get a lot of rain and occasional snow. My biggest question is if the raised roof will protect the plywood ceiling on the coop. Otherwise looks pretty straightforward.
