After a couple of years writing (and procrastinating), I can finally present the madness which is my first novel (and first book whatsoever). It’s a bizarre blend of pirate fantasy and allegory with acts named after rock songs (@wrathsfarm I’m sure you’ll appreciate those) and it may not be for everyone, but if people could share it, I’d appreciate it a lot.

Below is the link to the Amazon.com page for it, let me know if it works.

You definitely did a thing!

Congratulations!

Is the paperback and kindle version both available? I don’t know how the price translates over exchanges and taxes so let me know if you think the price needs adjusting.

This would be right up my reading list. I used to love to read. History, fantasy and horror are my thing. I'm pretty outdated but my all time favorite Author is Clive Barker, (for those that don't know he's most famous for the 'Hellraiser' movies).

My favorite book by Barker is 'Weaveworld'. If your into that sort it's an amazing read.

On books subject...The last book I read and this was a long time ago, mind you. I can't for the life of me remember the name but would love to read it again. I'm going off my memory here which is spotty at best, but the story jists something to the effect of....A young modern day Arthur lives or visits the site of King Arthur's Castle ruins or the site of Excaliber and falls into a hole or something like that and transports back in time to Medieval times... or something like that. Wish I knew more but everytime I get reading history like stuff it always comes up in my memory that I wish I had that book to read again.

Claudie, not posing very well. She’s lost her long tail, I’m hoping it stays that way. Lovely type for her age. Much bigger than Joannie for some reason, Joan seems to be a bit stunted.

I put no-crow collars on the olive egger and both marans cockerels today, I’m hoping that makes them quiet enough so I can sneakily keep them a bit longer, maybe hatch as the start of next year if it works. Need another collar for Desmond the Silkie.

Some random pictures from this week, not chicken related. These are from around Lake Windermere, some of the last Celtic/temperate rainforests in the world. I have a feeling we’ve talked about these forests here or the BCM thread before, so I thought I’d leave these here.

I forgot to take pictures but I’m noticing that Mole is much paler than the other DCMs. This could just be because they’re different lines, but she also has a paler neck than body, and Wellington’s hackles are becoming shiny white in places. I’m wondering if they are silver cuckoos rather than dark. Their pattern likely qualifies for SCM, but I’m hoping that means they are E^R based to speed up the GCM project. They’re 17 weeks now, I’ve bought a last bag of grower’s pellets for them as well as some high protein pigeon growers to help them muscle up (particularly Joan as she is behind the others in size).
