Bluey PLEASE come home.

So glad you found her!

Maybe you could 'borrow' a chick from a local farmer for her to mother?

Bluey is fully fluffed and warm again. She spent most of the day by the stove and ate lots of warm porridge and sunflower seeds. When she moved off I thought she must have warmed through.
She spent her night next to the dog on his bed, so was toasty warm this morning. She has come out a couple of times and eaten, but still is 'walking low', so she has not gone completely back to normal.
I am asking around locally for any newly hatched chicks.
SO glad to have her back, though.

That fox is a real worry.....big ,bold, lovely colour.....but would look better as a scarf . I almost can't believe I have said that as I am veggie, don't wear fur etc., but this fox is mean. Polished off 12 of 13 of a neighbour's chickens a short while ago. I think it's a vixen with cubs, so it is lean and mean.

For now Bluey is safe at least.
