This is the scene I woke up to this morning. About 2-3 inches of snow!

Here's the Quad/walking trail into our woods. Picturesque!

Letting out the chickens! Perry Cox, our roo says, "Are you kiddin' me?"

The coop area with Perry the mama's boy roo and Churkey.

The top of our driveway.

Another gratuitous shot of Perry.

The road leading away from our home.

And just because the internet tends to be self absorbing (note title of post where I refer to myself in the third person

), here's the song running through my head today:

we started to get snow just after 7am when it was time to take kids to school. We got less than an inch and its disappearing right now.

Lovely and you are lucky to have the snow. I would give anything to trade the ice storms for snow!! We used to visit grandmother's farm outside Erie and loved the deep snows.

Thanks, I'm going to do my best to take a walk first thing tomorrow morning before it warms up later in the day....

SO PRETTY. I can just see myself walking through the tree's with the snow crunching under foot!

The roo looks like he's trying to stand on tippy toes

Wildsky...funny that you say that, because he was taking turns standing on one leg at a time most of the time I was watching him...

It's a shame I didn't get a shot of him doing that... he looked like a flamingo....

So beautiful! Driveway must be scary driving down.. I love the cold weather, without the snow of course. Haha
