SO I may be over reacting but I have a little bo at 8 weeks that is acting a bit weird. He is a bit lethargic, he will get up when I call him if he feels like it and then runs around with the other girls. I did notice that his ear holes seem to have some gunk on the out side feathers, but no redness to his ears. He has a bit of discharge at the corners of his mouth and at one nostril. He is also doing the random gapping which terrifies me that it is gape worm, but my last chicks I had did that at his age and were fine. oh and no sneezing, wheezing or coughing.

    Any ideas???

I have tylan 50 which I am going to administer orally in a bit to see if maybe his oddness goes away,

Make sure he's not just overheated!

It is fairly cool here in PA, but I did go and check and he seems fine with the heat. Today however I noticed that he had some water coming out of one eye and he is still doing the gaping thing.

How would you treat gapeworm or is there a preventative?

Does it sound like something else?
