I've got my bob whites in outdoor pens, no eggs yet, any body else? I've got them paired in trios 1 roo, 2 hens, they have nest boxes and are eating high protein gamebird feed. Any ideas?

it's not time for them just yet

Ours won't start laying until anytime between end of March through April. Depends on lighting mostly, but weather/temps can affect them as well.

Mine are not laying either, but I am thinking of putting lights up here soon. Being so far south our temperatures are not that low right now.

I thought it was just mine, but I guess not, thanks and hopefully soon we'll all have eggs.

yeppers if you have them outdoors with no artificial lighting you should start seeing eggs by mid march.....make sure they have visual acess to sun light (as it's what turns them into breeding season)

Yep... I keep a few select breeders inside with artificial light so I have a few eggs through the winter, but the ones that are outside are not laying yet. Oh, c'mon Spring!!!

they've really started putting the feed away now, could that be a sign of breeding in the very near future?
