Bob White in the wild have life expectacey of 14 months. Granted a caged quail is under less stress. Don't know exact answer some others on forum may have more info. I wouldn't expect more than about 2.5.

New to bob whites. I have button quail and Ancona ducks. Have several bators though and my father spur of the moment ordered 60 bob whites off eBay. I'm near Orlando, FL so not concerned with the temps right now. Eggs should get here Thursday. What guidelines do you all follow for your bobs? I've done pharaoh and buttons but not bobs.

The hawks have been circling for 2 days now. We think he is in the kudzu, but not sure it is him or some other critter.
