bob whites and japanese??

I've read a bit about how its not recommended that you keep different types of quail together... But I was wondering if I am able to put some bob white hens in with a trio of japanese? No male bob white, just the hens?? Please help! I'm supposed to be getting them at the weekend and need to know where to house them!
