Bobbing for treats!

With the heat index today over 105 I wanted to do something to keep all the panting down.
So I filled up this extra large cat litter tray that I use for my ducks (they are afraid of the kiddie pool), I filled it up with nice fresh water. Then I filled it with frozen peas, frozen blueberries, cabbage, lettuce, and ice cubes.
What fun. It was the hit of the party!

Funny thing is the ducks didn't get it, the chickens kept picking, and the turkey's climbed in like ducks and went bobbing mad, wading around in it.

Nice idea .. Might borrow that if the heat gets to high here in uk ... Highly unlikely at the minute ..its rained for days
