I am so sorry. I have had many bobcat losses, but they only ever take one ata atime. Maybe a sick or old cat. Also, take solace in the fact that the cat is only serving its natural needs. You have contributed to the perpetuation of wildness in the world. Again, so sorry, never fun.
 
One buff Sussex hen is alive! I don't know how she made it. I have her out an in the barn.
She is going to be so lonely.

The bobcat has run off.
 
Put a large live trap inside the coop where the cat came in and make sure that is the only point of entry. Then put your lone bird in the coop safe on the other side of the trap for bait. The cat will be back soon and that is the best way to get rid of the thing.
