In September the game cam got a couple shots of a scrawny lil bobcat wandering through. In early January, I saw him (since my hens sounded the alarm) myself. And now the game cam caught him checking things out. That tractor is not in use, but for perspective the open door is 30" wide and 36" tall. This kitty has not been missing any meals.

I'm one step ahead of you-- I think I may have someone who owns a big trap interested in him. It's a friend of a friend, so I have not yet confirmed. I think I have a little time since he has not been back since that night (checked game cam again today). A neighbor was losing exotic birds, and that bobcat would come about every two weeks... I guess they have routes, a territory.

Yeah they have routes. Good thing is once you trap them they will not come back. Bobcats are easily attracted to bobcat urine. Place it in the trap, he will go in, get caught, be mad, and once you relocate them, they won’t be back.
