be aware too, that bobcats can, and sometimes do, breed with domestic cats -- I had an orange tabby half-bobcat (same thing as the Pixie Bobs were bred from) --- bonded to us as a family but shy and wild with anyone else

breeders wanted him for their program, but he had already been neutered before he showed up at our back door

RIP Rug .. he disappeared during our last earthquake

no I wouldn't have trusted him around chickens ... my neighbor, however, seems to be doing well with his hens free ranging, despite hawks, eagles, coons, possums, bobcats, and coyotes in the area

set out some traps and see if you can trap them. use fox urine to trap the bobcat. just make sure it is legal in your area.
