    Anyone have issues with Bobcats?

Deer, Turkeys, Raccoons, Hawks, and even an occasional fox. But Bobcats! They are in our area none sighted close to our house but they are 4 miles out or so. Anyone have experience with these bothering their ducks.

I live in CT and never seen one until the other day. Our pens are secure but I do let them free range which they love.

We have bob cats but haven't lost a duck to one yet, thinking only because my dogs are usually out most of the time the ducks/chickens are wandering around outside the gate. They will take ducks though so be prepared to either lock your flock up or take the chance, I choose to let mine out even though I know there is a risk, they wouldn't be happy closed up all the time. You have the right to protect your flock though if the need arrives.[IMG]
