Bobs & Cortunix

I searched for this but didn't find anything, can you put Bobs and Cortunix chix of THE SAME AGE together without any problems I know Bobs are known bullys but what if they are brought up together. Thanks

I wouldn't recommend it. I did it once (well a certain parent thought she was helping) with button quail and the next day the button quail was gone and all what was left was remnants of the bones. I would raise the two kinds of quail in separate brooders

bobwhites are a bit on the aggressive side even to each other.
 
Bad idea there, they'll tear eachother to pieces and you'll have some innocent looking bloody bobwhites saying oops, they died but the reason I have blood on me is because I helped them up.
 
I have 2 Bobs with 19 cotunix since they hatched now they are 3 weeks , so far no problems


BUT

when they were babys about 1 week old 1 coturnix jumped in the Bobs area (about 40 Bobs) and by the time I noticed the coturnix was bleeding from the beak or the nostrils.
