Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do. 
Last spring when the hens started laying I noticed that a couple hens looked odd. so I took a closer look at them and noticed that they wouldn't run away. So that was really weird because my bobwhites always go to the other end of the cage. So I picked them up and she started shaking without control. A day or so passed and the bird was dead. I had about 3 other hens all spring of last year die. Then it was over. So I thought it may have been just a fluke. Well, this year I just had one hen do the exact same thing. Anyone know what this is and how to treat it?
