Bobwhite quail - when they gonna lay?

I've had my Bob's for eight months planning on eggs next year. Thinking about hatching another 100 or so.
 
They mature at about the same rate as chickens... 20-24 weeks. If the conditions are right, they will start laying then. If not, probably in the Spring.
 
Yeah, bobs mature slowly. So, judging from the time they were born, you will have to wait till spring for eggs.

My Bobwhites would often take 24 even 28 weeks to start laying. With that age coming in winter time, expect your birds to start laying come spring. Good luck!
