I recently incubated 25 bobwhite, it of those I have over chick hatched. I have a forced air incubator and I kept my temp within a few 10ths of 99.5 I kept my humidity at 60-65% the first 20 days then tried for higher the last 3. Please tell me that my humidity was too high early. I'm starting a new batch Friday.

That seems a bit high. I just had mine hatch this morning, had about a 75 percent hatch this go round. Were these shipped eggs or from your own stock? I do about 50 percent humidity then bring it to around 70 percent.

Have you verified that the temp and humidity readings from the incubator were correct? Just because they say it doesn’t mean it is.

They were purchased eggs I'm trying to start my first covey.
