Boer Goats

I'm just here out of curiosity. We got our two ladies free from someone who was giving a bunch of goats away. They said they were all boers. I just don't know if the individual goats were "all" boer. The others I've seen seemed stockier than my ladies. It doesn't matter for anything, but I'm wondering if anyone is familiar enough to look at them and know if they might be mixed.

How old are they? Do they still have more growing to do? They look like boers but boers are big meaties and they don't look to big and meaty to me either.

The brown one is about 2, I think. She has some adult teeth. The other I think is less than a year, since she's got all baby teeth, and is noticeably smaller than her friend.

It's hard to say for sure but all I can tell you is that my Boers were a LOT blockier than that.

I think they are probably Boers, but from the "shallower" end of the genetic pool.... or they could be amazing genetics on crappy feed and forage, and just haven't filled out like they should. They look sweet and healthy, have fun with them. I LOVE my Boers!
