Boff Orps....red in the face???

I have 15 BO pullets. They are about 17 weeks. Several of them are getting really red in the face...around thier eyes,waddles,combs. Is this indicitave of the being ready to lay? I have found 2 pullet eggs...but there are other pullets in there that might also be getting ready to lay. How do I know? Is the reddening in the face normal?? Could it be the heat? Not all of them are red. Some are still pinkish. Is it time to put in the "big girl boxes" They have 3 boxes near the floor.

Yep, as they are ready to lay their combs, faces, and wattles turn "bright" red.

Whew! Thanks....guess I better get busy on the nest boxes. They are ready...just need to be installed. Come on EGGS!! LOL Im just glad it wasnt aomething wrong. Thanks again silkie!
