I found this pink, somewhat firm boil on my Buff Polish's foot today. Any info/ advice? Pic attached.

Start with a good long soak inwarm epsom salt water.
I was able to wash the foot well enough to see it today and I really don't see a big scab, but is that small black area on the bottom of the foot where the infection is coming from? Should I take a scalpel to that? Does it hurt them when you remove these without an anesthetic?

It looks like bumblefoot which sometimes occurs on the top of the foot between the toes. The cut on her foot pad may be related. I would disinfect the large bump on the top between the toes and lance it with a needle or hypodermic needle. Then try to squeeze out any pus inside. Then disinfect it again, and apply antibiotic ointment, a folded 2x2, and wrap with 1 inch strips of vet wrap. Change it daily. Look at the link below where you will see a similar bump, and at the bottom of the page a video of how to apply the foot dressing:

It could be the entrance wound in case she stepped on something like a thorn or similar.

I would rather take a scalpel or small biopsy punch to the bump on top after carefully disinfecting the area. Chicken pus mostly has the consistency of cheese so I think that using a needle will not be enough to get the infectious matter out.

Chicken do not tolerate anaesthetics well (don't use antibiotic ointments containing pain relief), but they are very hardy and resilient.

For the procedure you can wrap her up like a burrito in a large towel to keep her still, with just the feet sticking out.
Another person as a helper would make it even easier for you.
