Boiled Egg Turned Gray

My frined boiled a bunch of brown eggs. She said they all looked fine except 1 - the egg WHITE was completely gray!! What is that all about?

This JUST happened to me. The white part is gray.

I faced the same issue... one egg with grey white part. I soft boiled it so it was definitelly not overcooked.
I didn't fully open it as I was afraid there's an alien inside. I like eggs and I didn't want to ruin my future experience.
I've read somewhere that pearl color can be caused by Pseudomonas (it's quite dangerous), however I can't tell whether mine is pearl or not. Photo below.

I had the same thing happen to me last night! I boiled a dozen and only one turned gray. I tossed it but still curious why it happened!

Had the same thing happen today. All the eggs were fresh and not over cooked. It was a brown egg from a barnyard mix hen.

I know this is VERY OLD. But I came up when I tried to search what the heck happened to my egg! I boiled eggs and one of them was completely gray I'm definitely not going to eat it no matter if it's safe or not.
