Boiled eggs taste horrible...

Help - when we boil our eggs they taste like the coop smells. Don't have that problem when frying, scrambling, etc...
Am I doing something wrong? Need to clean them a special way before boiling?

Welcome to BYC -- what process are you using when you cook them -- time, bring to a boil and then turn off and let set or full on boil the whole time, etc? There are several processes that can take place as the egg cooks that can have an impact on the flavor of the egg. You did mention whether you might need to clean them a certain way - what is your current process for egg cleaning (if you clean them) and storing the eggs prior to use? Are your eggs normally dirty when you collect them?
