Boiling Eggs

I actually took the advice to add a little bit of white vinegar, and voila!! :) the best deviled eggs ever! Thanks everyone for all of your responses.
 
I agree you need to let your eggs age a bit,but I also use an egg cooker which seems to make a big difference and I also peel them under running water
 
I steam mine and I don't have to wait until they are a couple weeks old. Place in steamer basket, steam for 15 minutes. Remove and run under cold water for several minutes. Shells pull off in two pieces, just like butter!

I agree really think steaming is the answer. I know with the egg cooker it is the same principle as steaming,water in bottom of cooker and the eggs sit on top of water in an egg rack. You poke a little hole in the shell place in the rack put the glass lid on and turn it on . Works great,and peeling under the running water is also a huge help.
