Bologna Bisquits from Hardees?

Got a surprise for most here that have never heard of a fried bologna sammich. All have eaten one at one time or another, they are very good with chili and onions, it is called a hot dog. Yup that's right a hotdog is nothing more than bologna. Try a fried bologna sammich with chili and onions or cole slaw...

Hardee's is dead to me. It is now Carl's Junior (which I hate).

I had a chance to visit Alabama after 13 years and on of the highlights for me is a "Food Tour" to eat the southern stuff you just can't get here in California.

I had heard C,J had taken over Hardee's but diddn't think much of it until I went for my favorite thing EVER! The Stake Biscuit with Biscuit/Gravy on the side.
Tasted like greasy cardboard and wall papper paste.
To give a second chance Itried a different restaurant....same, same.
I will NEVER eat at Hardee's again....Dead to me.

Carl's Jr came first, Founded by Carl Karcher in the late 20's early 30's. He was best friends with John Clark who owns Prodential Overall Supply (he did - he died). Karcher had a hot dog stand and Clark washed his aprons for him in exchange for lunch.

Never did find out where the name Hardee's came from.
