River waits for Star to answer her
River sees smoke bomb

Star shook her head as the sprinkler system kicked on. "Bleh." She said and glanced around for something to cover her head with. Erin, still pulling Linda but not quite paying attention, slid in a puddle. Star cringed. Ooh, faceplant!

When she picked herself up, blood was running from her nose. She spun around, grabbed Linda's collar, and yanked her upright. "Do you think this is a joke?" She screeched. Linda's eyes flew open. "I've had two crew members die today. Two! And you think you can just throw a smoke bomb and play dead in the hall?" She bared her teeth, and not in the friendly way, as blood poured over her mouth.

Star shuffled where she crouched with River, glad for the moment to be away from it all. Two dead? How had she missed this? "What happened?" She whispered to River.

Star shuffled where she crouched with River, glad for the moment to be away from it all. Two dead? How had she missed this? "What happened?" She whispered to River.

River tried to get up but stopped "Lind!-" She looked back to Star "You don`t remember?"

River stared at her "Erin wiped your memory," she said to herself and she shook her head "Well," she began to tell what had happened "Then i guess Erin wiped your memory and then I think you know what happened from there,"

Sybil had guessed something was up when Adele had ushered her to leave the man behind. So when he attacked and she moved to respond, Sybil had done nothing to help. She just watched it play out, realizing Adele liked to play with her kills like a cat. Then again she did the same sometimes too so who was she to judge. When Adele handed her a key and gestured for her to check a room that was previously locked for her rifle her eyes lit up a bit. She eagerly took the key and headed towards the unexplored room, hoping that maybe, just maybe today would be the day to find her rifle.

She unlocked the door and used her eye to scan the dark room before entering. It had a few shelves along the wall and crates and boxes on the floor. It was sparsely filled but everything she passed along the way in the room told her this was a safe of sorts, where they kept the vet best. She looked along the shelves and crates her heart fell until she came to the back wall and spotted it, laid out on a lower shelf. A wicked grin filled her face as she practically danced over to it.

Adele pulled her hood up over her hair, checking for blood stains as she did so. A bath was definitely in need after this excursion. She'd been here on this godforsaken little station for too long; too long away from the comforts of her flat and a good washing for herself and her garments. She wrinkled up her nose as the putrid stench of the man lingered around her, even as she left the room and ruined body behind. But it was good enjoyment. This whole breakup was good enjoyment, and she was grateful she had run into the cyborg earlier. Speaking of cyborg, she better not be ruining the crates of goods Adele had discovered in the locked room. She stepped into the doorway, her slim build barely blocking the dusty light. "Got what ya wanted?" She asked, narrowing her eyes to see better in the dark room.

"She... wiped my memory?" She ran a hand over her damp head. So thats why she couldn't remember how she got there. She would have to get her back for that. You don't just wipe someone's memory and... was that how the aliens have kept themselves secret for so long? No, focus, Seeker. One subject at a time. She glanced back to the spitfire, then to scarface. "But who died?"

And she had been told to keep her bond safe, even though they were not bonds, they were to be, so what was the difference? she hadn`t. she again looked at Linda and she felt betrayed again.

Linda's mandible dropped. How had the human gone from saving her life to threatening it in a moment? Those teeth were just inches from her face, bloodied from the broken nasal cavity. She could easily overtake her... couldn't she?
